I have some plugs that install on their own and they never ask about the Steinberg VST folder and I have to manually place the Dll there after normal install. Even so, that effect/instrument, if it is a VST, has a. Plug-ins that I know of, have their own install or. There might not be any info because nothing has changed. I don't have 2.0, but my BLIND GUESS is you install the Plug-In using its own install system and still, only point Maschine to your chosen Plug in folder(s). If they ask about installs, refer them to resource XYZ about ' Installing NI Products.' NI, at least, has one.Īnd I don't think they a have a lot of English speakers because.sometimes the point that I'm asking about is treated as a "Keyword" and I get answers from an FAQ like cut-n-paste document. I've sent questions in emails to tech support and it does take a week, but considering their massive user base and the number of products they have, I don't know what to think. Like everyone else here, i'm just trying to be creative. & wait like 20 minutes for someone to finally answer the call, either they don't know what they are doing, or there no way to do the things that are asked) (if you have to refer someone to YouTube, after they've taken the time to call.
& their technical support told me to go on Youtube I even called them up once to get answers.

Native Instuments have a ton of How To manuals with a lot of missing elements when what was in my synths didn't accommodate) 2000XL didnt really have a up-to-date way to save your work, & i got tired of digging for sounds. (in the early 2000's i had 2 MPCs the 2000XL & the 2500. Maschine's hardware allows you to be hands on. but with the beats my ideas come out more funky when i can be hands on.

I've been using gear, & software since the early 2000s & i can usually teach myself anything if the info is there Once i upgraded to their version 2.0 software, the learning curve became even more so There is no link or anything that allows you to post anything, just a ton of links to manage, & mark "read" the post that are already there. Posting a message on their forum is also a mystery i haven't decoded

& their reply only had a link to their Manual with page numbers that addressed the topics i inquired about. I sent that message to their technical support, & they sent me a reply weeks later, with an apology for taking so long to reply. Its 2014 now, i spent a lot of money on your hardware, 2.0 software upgrade, expansions & so on. i’m a very computer savy person, but this area is stagnating my progress. in 2.0 the external plug-ins are hard to install, load, & hard to locate. there is reams & reams, & volumns of stuff that lead us all over the place on your “Knowledge base” that don’t pinpoint or give answers to this simple “How to” question.Īfter i go to Preference/plug-ins/locations & “add” the Plug-ins folder location, WHERE do i click to upload the EXTERNAL plug-in. i want to be creating, not wasting time trying to decode a mystery. i’ve exhausted myself looking for detailed & correct info online, on forums, on Youtube (even paid memberships on online websites, that take peoples money & don’t gives answers: “Maschine Tutorials”). HOW do you do that, what is the procedure. Plug-ins that are not strictly a simple DLL (a DLL file that can be dropped into a folder), plug-ins that require a install. & i would appreciate details on how to install & load them. i do have some “Favorite” sounds & effects that are not from Native Instruments factory. & lets loading & using “External” Plug-ins remain a mystery. although the manual keeps saying “AND” External.
& it gives very detailed steps for how to do things with the Internal (Factory) Plug-ins (i.e. I’ve checked the “Get started manual” & the more comprehensive Maschine 2.0 manual. if you want to Load & access Plug-ins that are EXTERNAL. Thanks alot.Įverything on the Plug-in list is from the Native Instruments factory. i would greatly appreciate an informed reply. if there's anyone out there that has answers. i've been trying to get answers since they upgraded their software to Maschine 2.0. Below is a message i sent to Native Instruments (one of MANY).
